Read fairly: COMC's headline is the store-credit floor — cashing out to real money costs more. TCGplayer's figure is an effective composite that rises on smaller orders. Where a number is a range or an estimate we say so rather than invent precision. Competitor figures were read from each marketplace's own pages on the dates linked above; fees change, so check the source before relying on it.

When you buy, your payment is heldby SlapSwap — not paid to the seller — until the item reaches you and you confirm it's what was listed. If it isn't, the money is still ours to return, not the seller's to keep.
You can watch exactly where a purchase stands in your order tracker: payment held → item in transit → checked on arrival → you confirm → funds released to the seller. Each step is timestamped, and nothing releases until the step before it is done.

High-value items can be routed through our facility to confirm the item matches the listing before settlement. We call the result Listing Verified— we confirm the listing is accurate. It's a description check: not a grade, and not a verdict on whether the item is genuine.

Optional under $1,000; required from $1,000 up; the fee is splittable between buyer and seller where it applies, and the platform covers it entirely from $2,500 up. Above $10,000, payment is by bank wire and inspection is required — a deliberate anti-fraud step on the highest-value sales. The fee above is read live; if the schedule changes, this page changes with it.

- Reviews reveal at the same moment.Buyer and seller ratings unlock together, so neither side can hold a review hostage or retaliate after seeing the other's.
- Real front-and-back photos, or it can't go live. Every listing must show real photographs of the actual item — front and back — before publishing. No buying blind from a stock catalog image.
- We say what we actually checked. When an item is inspected we mark it Listing Verified— the listing matches the item. We don't dress that up as a grade or a promise the item is more than it is.
